Notice to Mariners
No. 06 of 2026
To all ship owners, shipmasters, agents, fishing vessels, pleasure craft users, seafarers,
fishery organisations and general port users.
Mariners are advised that the Cork County Council pontoon at Passage West (Cork Harbour),
located: 51°52.299’ N ; 008°20.059’ W, will be closed from 30-03-2026.
From this date, access to this facility will not be permitted.
All vessels and equipment must be removed. Berthing shall be prohibited. .

EU Whistleblower Directive
Public Consultation
The European Commission is currently conducting an evaluation of the EU Whistleblower Directive.
As part of this evaluation, it has launched an Open Public Consultation on the EU’s
‘Have your say’ portal, accessible via the 'Click for more information' button below.
This public consultation is addressed to a general audience and is open until 22 April 2026.
Expert stakeholders, including competent authorities, may also provide their feedback via the public consultation.
